These days, most of us have thousands of digital photos we can share at the touch of a button, but what's the earliest one? For most people it coincides with their first smartphone, or perhaps an old digital camera, but what of the hundreds or thousands of photos you took before this?
When was the last time you looked at the boxes of photos in your loft? They too contain priceless memories for you and your family. We believe your old photos are worth seeing, which is why we now offer a photo scanning service. We can digitise your memories and provide your scans to you online for you to download, keep and share with your loved ones.

How many photos would you like to scan?
*The above price calculation is based on: £X.XX per scan with a minimum order of £X.XX. If the order reaches X scans, then any additional scans are charged at £X.XX.
The total charge will always be based on the final number of scanned photos, so don't worry if you don't yet know how many photos you've got.
How Does It Work?
- Bring (or send) us your photos
- We scan your photos
- You provide payment based on the actual final number of scans
- We send you a link to your online gallery to download all your photos
- You arrange collection of your original photos
Please bring us your photos (57 Kestrel Road, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP2 0RP) and collect them again after scanning has been completed. Please contact us first to ensure someone is around to receive your photos.
In future, we may offer delivery and collection, but for now, if you can't personally bring and collect your photos, you may wish to arrange a courier to do this on your behalf. Please understand we are not responsible for their services.

How Long Will It Take?
This will depend, mostly on how many photos you provide. Under most circumstances, once we have received your photos, we aim to have the scanning completed within a week. If you're in a hurry and need them scanned more quickly, please let us know!
How Long Will You Store My Scans?
Your online gallery will be available for 12 months, after which it will be removed. We recommend you download your scanned images and transfer them to your favourite cloud service, or store them in another safe place.
Are There Any Photos You Cannot Scan?
Most photos scan very well and without problems. However, please ensure any photos have been removed from albums before bringing them to us. Size-wise, our scanner has maximum scan dimensions of about 21cm x 91cm. We cannot scan anything that's sticky, folded, torn or extremely delicate. Please also remove any post-it notes. Please feel free to check with us if unsure.
What Payment Methods Do You Accept?
We accept bank transfer payments or cash.
What DPI, Resolution Or Size Are The Scans?
Your photos will be scanned at 600DPI, based on the size of the original photo. For example, a standard 6"x4" photo will scan at approximately 3600 x 2400 pixels, which is about 8.2 Megapixels. Larger and smaller photos will vary correspondingly.
My Photos Are Categorised In Boxes. Can You Keep Them Separate?
Yes, we can try to accommodate for this. Please let us know any specific requirements.
There's Important Information Written On The Back Of Some Photos. Can You Scan That Too?
Our clever scanning system can automatically detect most annotations on the back of photos. If it detects text, it saves an extra scan of the back. We don't charge any extra for this service or the extra images it produces.
Are You Insured?
Your old photos are priceless and irreplaceable. No, really, they are. It's for this reason that it's impossible to insure your original photos while we have them, and no compensation can be offered. However, we always take the utmost care to store and handle your photos in a way that will avoid damage. It's never happened before, but please be aware that possible damage is an unavoidable risk. We understand how important your photos are to you. If you do not want to take that risk, please don't send us your photos.
